The Avengers
Now that the set is complete, I thought I'd post a few group shots so you can see how they all look together. If anyones been tempted to make them but not got around to it yet, I hope this will give you the incentive!
As you can see, they make a pretty good team. I DO feel that something's certainly missing so I MAY get around to making a Loki sometime in the future. If I do, I might do a Chitauri army builder as well, but this won't be for a while.
Here's links to all of the individuals pages, incase you've just been linked to this page, and to save everyone dredging back through all my old files to find the Iron Man. (Though I'd love you to go through all the old pages anyway, there's even a silver surfer and a lot of models I guarantee any X-Men fans will love)

Marvel's Avengers: Nick Fury
Nick Fury
Here's the last of my Movie Avengers for the moment...
This model turned out pretty well and I thought would be a good adition to the rest of the team. His jacket may give you a few issues, but if you just look back at the pictures of him you should be able to see more earily how I've fitted it together. And for anyone reading Scarlet Spider (which is a great read, as well as the current Venom series) I guess he can double as 616 Fury Jr as well now.
I wanted to give him a rocket launcher too but had no idea how I'd fit it on to the model. You'll notice as well that some of the details have changed in the file compared to the picture above as a few different highlights on the jacket have been more evident on images released since I first put together the model and I've incorporated these into the file. This just means the version you make will be a little more accurate.
Last but not least, he actually does have the cosmic cube in the briefcase, incase you missed it in the earlier preview. I've tried to make a simple hinge mechanism so that you can open and close the briefcase without damaging it.
Any questions feel free to ask, and I'd LOVE to hear any feed back that you have!
As always, if you like them feel free to drop me a donation if you want, to help me keep on top of my ink costs!

Marvels Avengers: Hawkeye
Hawkeye
On to the penultimate model of my Movie Avengers....
Warning : You're going to need a needle and thread for this one!!!
This model took a lot of constant rework to get his look right, and to get his position how I wanted it. It wasn't really until the face started to take on his essence more and all of his accessories started piling up that I began to think he was right... and now I think he's probably one of my favourite of the Avengers models that I've done.
He does get quite intricate in parts, so you'll notice that he's probably got more instructions included on the pages than any other files have to date. If things seem far more complicated than they should be, just sit back, relax, and try and picture the shape in your head, to see if it makes it easier seeing how it goes together (and remember you can refer to the pictures here).
The arrows in the quiver is just an illusion to look like he's got loads of arrows.. it still doesnt mean the shape isn't going to be a pain to cut out and fold though.
I've also included his shades, as he has them on all the promotional materials, even if he doesn't seem to actually wear them at all in the film.
Any questions feel free to ask, and I'd LOVE to hear any feed back that you have!
As always, if you like them feel free to drop me a donation if you want, to help me keep on top of my ink costs!

QUICK Note to FIREFOX users
Just as a quick note, some people seem to be having an issue in Firefox with the PDF files not loading correctly and the plugin giving an error message.
For the moment, right click the file and click Save Link As to download it first and they should work fine!
I'll look into this issue some more and let you know what I find out

Marvels Avengers: Thor
Thor
Another of the completely new models.
So, let's be honest, I think this one is probably one of the most anticipated of my Avenger Models, as he's had a lot of requests. I really do hope he's lived up to people's expectations.
The hair works in a similar way to Storms, so the sides fix to the head once the head is complete. You'll notice I've not added markers for where the arms should go on this one. It should be clear, anatomically where they go, but this way it gives the added advantage that you can stick his arm wielding his hammer up in the air instead if you'd rather.
He comes with his hammer, obviously, and also a removeable helmet to make as an added extra. He is slightly taller than all of the other Avengers tho no-where near hulk height.
The cape may seem a bit confusing at first, but I've added what instruction I can. The tabs that fit on the shoulders especially may seem a bit strange, as they stick out over the edge of the body, but once the head and arms are in place, the look right and allow the cape to have some extra width.

Marvels Avengers : Black Widow
Black Widow
Here's the first of the completely new models. The top's done a bit differently to add a bit more too it, which looks really good on the finished model.
The most difficult part was the arms (which look different in the final model to how they do in the picture) because its SO hard getting arms in more dynamic poses to still look in proportion.. considering the entire model is so out of proportion.
I hope you like how it turned out though.
I've also included an alternate hairstyle for her Iron Man 2 look, as she did look smoking in that film and some of you might prefer this style. I've also tried to put as much instruction as I can into how all her straps and belts fix into place, but let me know if you need any clarification.
Have fun making her!

Marvels Avengers: Captain America
Captain America
On to the second of my Avengers team (or third I guess, as we've already got Iron Man further below)
Heres Captain America, updated with his Avengers uniform, which is actually a lot more complicated and detailed than it at first seemed. I actually had really mixed feelings about the hood from all the stills we were seeing, but after watching the film, it really doesn't stand out or look as funny as it did it pitctures.
Despite sharing the same body model, the whole figure has been redesigned. He even comes with two different heads, one with the mask and one without.
I'd thought about doing a removable helmet on him like Iron Man and.. err.. another model to be released ;) ... but I like the whole side parting he's got going on.

Marvels Avengers : The Hulk
The Hulk
So following on from my last post (go read it now if you haven't)
Heres the Hulk, updated to look more like his Avengers movie counterpart. It's mostly a recolour, but I've reworked the whole face and hair to look more movie styled and to tie in better with the Avenger models.
He's one of the more simpler models to make, so theres little instruction. He's also one of the largest, so although he can be made using plain A4 printing paper, if you get the chance grab some 160gm paper.. its only sliiiiiightly thicker, but enough to make building the models a bit easier.

So, apparently there's a film coming out this week that's got a lot of comic fans excited? I wonder what that could be?...
To celebrate the launch of the Avengers movie, I've put together a couple of models for you all to enjoy that I'll be putting online over the next couple week or two. Some are older models reworked to make them more movie styled, and some models are brand new (which may or may not include a certain hero who's been on my most requested list for a while).
Iron Man, is one that I haven't updated mind, as the second costume he wears was too similar to warrant the amount of work put in at the moment, so if you've not done him yet, go back and make him now to go with your other avengers
One more thing, I've actually added a donate button to my page now, as you might have noticed. I really don't expect to make money from this blog, but if I can cover my ink, paper and hosting costs.. and maybe have enough for a drink or two, then I'll be happy, thanks :D

The (long awaited) X-Men Sentinel
X-Men Sentinel
Just when you thought it was safe to remove this page from your bookmarks... POW!
Yes, I've actually got him finished. Got him finished a week a go or so but he's needed an awful lot of instructions within the file. Let me know if any bits seem missing. I really hope you think he's worth the wait. These are the best pictures I could take of him, but Im not happy how they've turned out. IMO he looks a lot better in person.
The best way to build him is to build each module seperately, then stick them all togetehr like a sentinel shaped jigsaw puzzle. The one on the picture is using A4 paper (or thin card) so here's a look at him scaled to other models...
I really don't think the pictures do him, or especially the size of him much justice so make him yourself to see. Though if anyone actually has the ink to build a few with A3 paper stretched to fit, feel free to post pics.
He makes a nice companion to my other X-Men so far. I might build a second and put one on each side instead (I like phoenix as a centrepiece to them)
And as always... here's the link you've been waiting for so you can download and build him yourself to add to all your other models.
Download the Sentinel here
Sorry it's been QUITE so long since my last update. I'm still here, I'm still working too hard, but I'm still trying to fiT in making some more heroes into my hectic life. Hopefully my next update one will be sooner (already started on my next model).
Thanks for all sticking with me + hi to any new people out there.
As always, any comments are more than welcome and always help encourage me even more.
Enjoy building him!

Still alive
Hi,
Just thought I'd post a quick update to say I'm not dead. Thankyou for the concern though.
I've not retired either from Paper Model making, I'm just CRAZY busy with my job, working practically 8 day weeks (the fact I've had to take a few days off with exhaustion shows how bad it's been getting). I wish I could spend more time on my heroes as I miss being able to make them.
Glad there are folks over at Deviantart carrying on my legacy while I can't and love seeing what they're doing with them.
That said, I have been working on a new model recently (the said time off helped) that I hope to have up some time over the next couple of weeks. For all those wanting someone for your X-Men to fight against the next update should be right up your street ;)
Thanks for your patience + sorry about the lack of anything going on over here.

The New Mutants (Series I - Cannonball, Moonstar, Karma, Sunspot, Magik)
The New Mutants
Moonstar, Karma, Cannonball, Sunspot, Magik
AT LAST AN UPDATE!!!!!!
Really Sorry it's been a long time coming but been VERY busy at work as well as working on some other paperheroey projects (thats u Jef)
So, as you may have noticed, it isn't Nightcrawler. I am still working on him, but I want the body to be perfect before I realease him and im still not digging him entirely.
On to the Paperheroes...

Cannonball
First up I thought I'd do a variant of Cannonball in his current New Mutants costume to go with the rest of the team. Arms can be positioned up or down as you choose. The flame effect that was in the previous release is in the file, despite not being on all the promo images.

Download Cannonball here
Moonstar
Moonstar turned out pretty well. Quite a basic figure. though the hair may seem complicated, it's just the same as Jean/psylockes etc.
The dagger might be a bit fiddly but shouldn't be anything too bad.

Download Moonstar here
Karma
I'm actually really disapointed with how all the photos of Karma turned out. They really don't do the model justice, it looks a lot better in person. Her face probably took the most effort in this model as I was trying to give some characters more distinc ethnicities than any of my other models have.

Download Karma here
Sunspot
Despite the effects used, this should be a very basic figure. It's a bit of a cheap one from me, using different body parts to create a new model (Look at me, I'm Toy-Biz) but I think the whole model comes together on its own.

Download Sunspot here
Magik
I have to warn you with this one. It does get DAMN tricky with her arm+Sword. As always, I've tried to make it clear in instructions but if you have any other problems I can try posting more information to clarify anything.
All in all the sword turned out A LOT better than I thought it would so I'm pretty proud of her :)

Download Magik here
There's my team so far. I know there are a few more, ie Doug, Warlock and Wallpapergirl... i mean Magma sorry... but they will all have to wait. Have a few other models on my mind now... hopefully I'll actually get some time to do them.

Happy building!
Hope you all enjoy them as much as my other models.

Your Custom Heroes
So this is a bit of a different post from my others......
It's recently come to my attention, and if you've been following the talkbacks on some of the other characters you may have found as well, that there are other people using the templates here to build their own Paper Heroes.
I'm definately honoured, and pleased that people are finding their own ways to enjoy the site (as long as theres a link back here eventually :P lol)
I Thought that I'd start sharing these with you. Some are characters I'm planning, some I'm probably not going to get around to making myself for quite a while, and some I probably wouldn't ever get to (ie. Headpool - :) did make me laugh).
Also, really I just wanted to let other people show off what they've done too.
If you know any other designers that have made custom paperheroes or if you are yourself and want to share them, feel free to give me a shout. I really do need a gallery for people to upload images of the models they build from here to show off their handiwork.
Here's a few Customs I've been sent / come across recently.
HyperDav's Jubilee

A combination of many different parts from different models (see if you can spot them) He's also edited Wolverine into a more traditional Blue + Yellow colour scheme.
Click here to download HyperDav's Jubilee
Click here to download HyperDav's Yellow and Blue Wolverine
SharkBomb's Deadpool

SharkBomb's made everyones favourite (albeit at the moment a bit over saturated) mercenary. I think he's used the base of the first cyclops. Check out his deviant site and view all the other paperheroes and Cubees he's made.
He currently has most of the Deadpool Corps made. SharkBomb has a lot of Cubees on his site too and he seems to work very quickly, so will probably have more Paper Heroes on his site eventually than I do.
Click here to go to SharkBomb's Deviant Site...
Hope you like the links and find them as interesting as I do. If I keep coming across more customs I might make posts like this a regular thing.

Hulk - Red Hulk 'Rulk' Variant
Hulk (Red Hulk Variant)
Here's the second of a pair of variants that I've uploaded today.
I have a dark secret confession... I actually kinda like Rulk. It might be because I worked out his real identity quite a while ago (C'mon the 'Milksop' line was a dead giveaway). Sure he did bonkers things like punch out the watcher (wtf) but I liked how the whole story played out and liked all the clues there about his identity when you knew where to look from them.

I've made him very angry looking as he seems to look madder than regular Hulk most of the time. like the last Hulk, his arms can be attached by his side or up in the Air like shown in the picture

Captain America - Bucky Variant
Captain America (Bucky Variant)
Here's the first of a pair of variants that I'll be uploading today.
I thought I'd get the Captain America Bucky costume done as it seems to be quite popular now. I could NEVER have believed that I would have liked any story that brought back Bucky, it was the unsaid rule of Cap that you just shouldn't do that.... and then Brubaker not only brought him back, but then replaced the regular Cap with him, and made him even more popular! Now that's good writing.

Still can't get great pictures. Moved into a new apartment and theres not enough room / light to get a good shot
Download Bucky here
Hope you all enjoy. Feel free to show other people my site and to post pictures of any of your models when you complete them.

Captain America
Captain America
A bit of a departure from the usual X-Men. I thought I'd get a Captain America done as he seemed an easy enough character to make (though did have a fair bit of trouble getting the arms to look right.. especially the one holding the shield.)
There really isn't anything hugely different from the basics on him. Hope you all enjoy. I thought I'd go with the classic Steve Rogers look, but I will be doing a variant soon :)
Here's Cap......

The pictures not great. Hopefully il get a better one up soon. He doesn't look as evil in real life as he does in this pic either.

Storm
Storm
So I actually got around to making Storm. I decided to do her in her current costume as I've been trying to stick with current costumes and then producing the 'classics' as variants at later dates (see last post). I think this costume emphasises her 'femininity' a bit more than the old 90s coverall with the giant shoulders (Il get to that costume eventually).
I tried to recreate the outfit as best as I could but it seems to change Artist to artist, even down to things like the colouring (ie the costume highlights being white or gold randomly) but I tihnk i've got a good enough aproximation to work with the look of my models and to make her look good.
Here's Storm......

This one, as you can probably tell from the photos, is VERY complicated and so I wouldn't recomend making this one until you have made at least one other model, so you know the mechanics of how parts like the hair fit together. I've tried to put as detailed explanations as I can in but let me know if you are having any problems and I will try to clarify things.
Remember : My host is pretty bad and I've been getting a couple of hundred times more traffic than I ever expected, so if the file doesn't download, try again after an hour or so or the next day.
To download right click files and then click "save target as.."
Otherwise, if Explorer has any problems or it doesn't download the whole file it seems to cache it half loaded so people are having trouble with only a few pages loading.

Cyclops - Jim Lee Costume
Cyclops - Jim Lee Costume
The second of my two variant, I've really been wanting to redo Cyclops now that my designing skills have improved and thought doing his classic Jim Lee costume would be a good idea.
He makes a really good partner to the Jim Lee Jean I put up yesterday too :)
Remember : My host is pretty bad and getting far more traffic than its meant to, so if the file doesn't download, try again after an hour or so or the next day.
Here's Cyclops : Jim Lee 1990s costume version......

Download Cyclops here

Gonna get the last few hardcore old skool X-Men done next.

Jean Grey - Jim Lee 1990s Costume
Jean Grey - Jim Lee Costume
I really haven't had much time to work on my models this month (work & other commitments) but I've managed to get a couple of variants finished that I hope will tide you over until my next proper release.
Thought I'd go one up on Dark Phoenix and do what was (for Marvel Legends at least) one of the most requested character/costumes....

Gambit
Happy New Year Everyone! Thankyou all for visiting and making it a pleasure to be running this site :) I hope you've all enjoyed making the models on the site so far and continue to come back for all the models i design in 2010 :)
Remember : My host is pretty bad and getting far more traffic than its meant to, so if the file doesn't download, try again after an hour or so or the next day.
Here's Gambit...

Well done for the people that guessed my hints in my last comment :) As you can see, theres quite a lot to him. The coat took some effort to get right but ended up looking better than I thought it would. Just rememeber not to crease and fold the tabs at the bottom of the coat so the whole coat curves around fluidly.
If you have any problems putting him together, have a look at the pictures to see if they give a hint to how its done or ask on here if your still having trouble.

On to Comments / Requests....
@The person who said they created IronMan out of A5 paper : Nice work! That must have been incredibly fiddly (though I guess they must take up a lot less room that way). Send the pics to mypaperheroes@hotmail.co.uk and il show them to everyone else for you :)
@The people who created some of these as gifts for people : I hope they were well recieved :)
@All the Storm fans : I'm planning on getting her done in the next month or 2, just need to be patient and I hope you enjoy any models i offer in the meantime, besides if you build it up too much it might end up being a disapointment :( She's one of the last few oldskool X-Men so I will definately get to her.
@Everyone : Hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Phoenix
Phoenix!
This one is actually looking pretty good IRL, I don't think the picture does it justice, but its too dark outside for me to get good lighting for a better picture. Il get a better picture up As soon as I can.
Remember : My host is pretty bad and getting far more traffic than its meant to, so if the file doesn't download, try again after an hour or so or the next day.
Here she is...

There are two seperate files, one for the model and one for the base. I WILL be releasing a Dark Phoenix variant (and maybe a white one too if i have time Telmo)
Jean.
Download Jean model here
The model is pretty basic. Slots together much the same way as Emma and Psylocke.
The Phoenix Rapture Stand
Download Stand model here
Yeah... this ones a bit complicated. Ive put letters and diagrams to help with putting it together. The letters signify which piece joins with which. It DOES not signify any order to put them together. If you need clearer instructions let me know.
On to questions / Requests....
Daredevil - Yep he'l get here eventually. Would be a pretty easy remodel using a Stark head, and basic Madrox body I guess so might get him down over the next few months.
Storm - I will get to her eventually, but I've been putting her off because I've got no idea what costume to use. Her current one is pretty horrific. tempted to go for her Worlds Apart Costume.
On a side note, the Anonymous person who couldnt get Hulk working - Did the file ever download ok?

The Invincible IronMan
IronMan
Sorry that this one's been QUITE so long in the making.
If anyone actually makes it I hope they can apreciate why it took so long.
Anyway, without further ado i bring you IRONMAN...

As you can see, hes a bit more complicated.
He can be displayed with or without the Helmet and Chest Armour.
There are lots of other pieces of armour that are fixed on... I've tried to best describe how to fix them on, but if anyone has any problems or need something clarifying then let me know here.
Hope you all like anyway!
All Comments welcome!

A Quick message..
Just a quick hi to everyone thats been visiting my site.
Been away on holiday for a little bit, so not been able to update.
IronMan IS near completion now. He looks a lot more detailed than the other models so hopefully he shouldn't disapoint (and yep he will have removeable helmet).
Phoenix and Gambit seem to be popular requests so they may not be too far away.
The blog was originally meant just as a personal hobby and is getting a LOT more views than I ever thought it would. People have been reporting a few file missing problems which I think are just a result of the number of people visiting.
If you have a problem downloading any one file, just try again after an hour or so and all should be fine.
Keep sending the address of this Blog on to anyone that you think might like it and feel free to make any models you want and to print off the models for friends too.
And for anyone interested, here's a pic of all the X-Men so far together...

Here's everyones favourite Multiple Man. One of the most requested characters yet. Ive not dont the coat or M tattoo so that he is as basic as possible, so shouldnt look too cluttered if you do lots of him together.
There are currently 3 different versions. Let's see who can make the most Duplicates!!!

Madrox Normal
Madrox Happy
Madrox Fighting
EDIT : SO that people can make an even greater range of Madri, I've included a few spare extra heads with different facial expressions on, so that you can mix and match them with the bodies from the other models.

Archangel (X-Force Costume)
Archangel : My first Variant.
I know I say to do all of my models with paper but as an important notice...
Please make this model out of card
As you start to make it you'l see why, the wings are seriously HUGE.
I made mine out of plain paper and found I had to run a bit of sellotape right along the back length of each wing to hold them up.
If you make them with card you shouldn't need any extra measures, they will hold up on their own.
The wings are pretty complicated, ive tried to make the instructions as clear as I can, if you've made Angel before it should be clearer. Let me know if you have any problems.
I hope you like it, let me know what you think...

This is one beast of a model and will tower above all the other heroes, because of which you might like to make this one with a thicker paper to add more support, but otherwise he should work find with plain A4 paper anyway.
